TAKE AN AIRBOAT RIDE ON THE WILD SIDE!
We invite you to come to the bayou and experience for yourself the ride of your life in an airboat. You can take a leisurely ride or a more adventurous “AIRBOAT RIDE ON THE WILD SIDE”. We have six passenger high performance boats that can reach speeds of up to 60 mph. Our airboats can ride on the marsh or deep in the cypress swamp where most tours cannot go. Or we can take you on a leisurely ride in a 15 passenger (US Coast Guard Approved) airboat that can run the shallows at 40 to 45 mph.
The tours go through swamp, over the marsh, and through moss draped trees. You will see hawks, herons, egrets, and occasionally bald eagles. We have over 300 species of birds. You're likely to see alligators up close & personal until the winter temps dip down low. They start coming back out when the weather starts warming up, late winter / early spring.
Our tour is just 25 minutes southwest of the New Orleans airport. We travel to a quiet fishing village where time seems to stand still. Your guides (US Coast Guard Captains) commercially fish alligators, crab, & shrimp. All are lifelong residents of the bayou. They are all very knowledgeable of the ecology of the marsh. We are a family owned & operated small business established in 1994.

IN ADDITION TO OUR DAILY SCHEDULED 1 HOUR/90 MIN/ & 2 HR AIRBOAT TOURS, WE ARE THE HOME OF THE EXTRAORDINARILY UNIQUE SUNSET TOUR. THE SUNSET TOUR IS LIKE TWO TOURS IN ONE. YOU'LL GET ROUGHLY AN HOUR OF THE TRADITIONAL AIRBOAT TOUR ADVENTURE, FOLLOWED BY A BREATHTAKING MOSS DRAPED CYPRESS SUNSET, THEN YOU'LL GET THE UNIQUE EXPERIENCE OF THE WETLANDS COMING TO LIFE WHEN THE SUN GOES DOWN FOR THE REMAINING 30 MINUTES OF YOUR TOUR. YOUR CAPTAIN WILL SCAN THE LANDSCAPE WITH HIS SPOTLIGHT TO HIGHLIGHT THE EYES OF DIFFERNT TYPES OF WILDLIFE FROM A DISTANCE. THIS WILL ALLOW YOU TO GET EVEN CLOSER TO THE WILDLIFE THAT USUALLY KEEPS THEIR DISTANCE DURING THE DAYLIGHT HOURS. ON THE WAY BACK TO THE DOCK, THE CAPTAIN WILL TURN OFF THE SPOTLIGHT TO ALLOW FOR A LITTLE MOONLIGHT CRUISING AS YOU GAZE AT THE STARS ABOVE.
