The tours go through swamp, over the marsh, and through moss draped trees. You will see hawks, herons, egrets, and occasionally bald eagles. We have over 50 species of birds. You can see alligators up to November. They start coming out when the weather starts warming up around February.
We are located 45 minutes from downtown New Orleans. From Baton Rouge about 90 minutes. We are 15 minutes away from the nearest plantations in Destrehan. We are about 40 minutes from Oak Alley Plantation, Laura Plantation, St Joseph and Whitney. We have great restaurants within 5 min from our location. There are several RV parks nearby.
Our airboats are piloted by USCG approved captains. The airboat tours are made by appointment. We do accept drive -ups.
